Kanada Tıp Konseyi [MCC] ECA ücretini revize etti

The Medical Council of Canada [MCC] has revised the fees applicable for an Educational Credential Assessment [ECA].

 

Based on the update, the service fee change is as follows –

An ECA will be required for the purposes of confirming whether or not an individual’s medical degree/diploma is comparable to a Canadian one.

 

For anyone applying to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada [IRCC] programs – the Federal Skilled Worker Program [FSWP] and the Canadian Experience Class [CEC] – an ECA might be required for the completion of the Hızlı Giriş profil.

There are different kinds of ECAs that are issued. An “ECA for immigration purposes” will be required for applying for Kanada daimi ikametgahı.

 

For education completed outside Canada, as assessment will be needed for –

• establishing eligibility as the principal application under the FSWP, or
• Earning points for education got outside Canada.

Generally, an assessment will be required only for the highest level of education acquired by the individual. No assessment is needed for a degree/diploma/certificate got in Canada.

IRCC recommends contacting the “regulatory body in the province where you plan to live to find out if you need a licence to practice your intended occupation”.

 

The MCC can be requested for an ECA report only when certain requirements are met by the candidate. Along with being an international medical graduate, they must also already have had their final medical degree/diploma source verified by the MCC.

 

Before an individual can share their international medical credentials with the Canadian Medical Regulatory Authorities and others, they must first submit their medical documents for a source verification for establishauthenticity.

 

All medical credentials submitted for source verification get automatically included in the candidate’s portfolio in the MCC Physician Credentials Repository.

After an assessment, documents are forwarded to the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates [ECFMG] for further review.

 

Once verified by the MCC and the ECFMG, the credentials of the applicant are to be stored in the MCC Physician Credentials Repository.

 

Under the Express Entry, a final medical degree/diploma must be verified by the MCC prior to putting in a request for an ECA report.

 

An ECA report will be produced and mailed within 14 calendars days of the request. An ECA report for immigration purposes will be valid for 5 years from the date of issue.
